Couldn’t have asked for more… Spashram is truly a gem. After almost a year of being locked at home, we were desperately looking for a place that would give us solace from the monotony and anxiety filled days due to the pandemic. Spashram was the perfect place that we were looking for. There are endless best things about this place. But, sharing a few:

1. The location is one of the best. Surrounded amidst the forests, there are only 2 bungalows (there are limited guests, so you are naturally safe from the crowd) which are very well maintained and has amazing views of the Ganges.

2. It is very accessible to the river beach area, place for ultimate peace and tranquil.

3. The variety of birds that I saw at Spashram is unmatchable.

4. The best thing about Spashram is that Mr.Inderjit Singh(the owner) has ensured that the biodiversity remains intact unlike any other resort/ hotels where they mindlessly clear up the forests for construction and beautification which is environmentally unsustainable. One could easily see those differences by just comparing this property with the Taj hotel that just lies adjacent. I wouldn’t want a holiday at the cost of such irreparable damage to the environment. We have inherited these beautiful natural resources from our ancestors and hence it is our duty to preserve it for our future generations. The nature in its original form is itself a luxury and not something to be created by us for profit-making and thereby destroying the native flora and fauna.

5. The entire team of Spashram were super. They took utmost care during our stay and their idea of arranging dining experiences at various picturesque points were commendable. Engaging local community for taking care of the property is also something that I really liked. Interacting with them would help you understand better about their symbiotic relation with the nature. Lot to learn from them! 6. Last, but not the least, Mr. Singh who we didn’t have the opportunity to meet but just connected over phone, is extremely caring. He was constantly coordinating with us and his staff members ensuring that we have a good time at Spashram, something that we all miss these days- the warmth & the connection!

I highly recommend this place not only to nature lovers but also to everyone who really need to experience and understand why we need to preserve our rich bio-diversity and why we must stop creating a demand for those ‘luxurious’ stays at high-end commercial resorts and hotels that contribute to an irreversible damage to our environment. I must also share there is no parking area. We parked our car on the road but it is completely safe. And to reach the property, one has to trek downhill for about 8-10 minutes. It’s a narrow road, so people having any walking difficulties should avoid. But for others, I can assure you that you wouldn’t regret. The views on the path to the property are breath-taking. My 9-year-old kid thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

5 star for this property / host and staff . They had taken so good care of us that these memories will last with us for ever . “ Hidden Gem “ … you have to experience this place to know what you have missed till now .

This is place where you experience ‘Home away from Home’. The rooms are spacious where you can have leisure of free movement. Bathroom are spacious with all basic modern facilities. The food is really good, special mention to soup hot & sour and pan cakes. Nowhere one can find peaceful and personal access to Ganga beach but here. The set-up is very eco friendly and blends naturally. From decor to hosting one can see the effort and ingenuity of owners, be it placing candles or a chair on the beach. The staff was very cordial special mention to Mr Surendra (sonu). I happen to delay my tour due to unforeseen events, Mr Inderjeet was kind enough to accommodate my changed schedule without any charges. This only shows the personal repo Mr Inderjeet develops with an unknown guest without meeting him, just over phone call. I am sure, once you checkout from Spashram you will feel whatever amount paid was less..as compared to the facilities availed.
USP – personal relationship, interest of Owner Mr Inderjeet

I knew this trip was going to be most valuable time of my travels. Not only did I get to the holiest of the cities – Hrishikesh but I got the spot (my own riverbed) next to mystical Ganges. I won’t give out more than you should know about this very tucked away space called the Spashram. Spashram is the one and only place where you can watch the mesmerising Ganga, spend peaceful hours in her holy arms- it’s quite a grand affair. Spashram is hidden, sheltered with warmth, care and comfort. Our stay at Spashram was amazing. The place and city has its own heavenly charm but the owner at Spashram made sure that the essence of all that was maintained. It’s a rare find where everything was gold. Offering a good accommodation, serving some amazing grill dishes with roaring fire, the food was superb -beautiful local ingredients, chosen with care and perfectly cooked. The hospitality extended to us right from the time of booking to the time we checked out by Mr.Singh was amazing. Mr. Singh was very attentive to our needs and tells the best of life stories. Definitely recommend this place at the same time hope it stays undisturbed and serene. Monkeys around but not a big issue.
